KEOS Temporarily Operating at Low Power

Sunday, March 15, 2026

Due to a problem with the KEOS terrestrial transmitter that sends out the radio signal at 89.1 FM in the Bryan / College Station area, KEOS is operating at low power until the transmitter is repaired. Radio listeners in College Station or areas of Brazos County will experience a lower signal level which may make the station harder to tune in or result in a noisier signal than usual. The Internet stream at KEOS's web site or TuneIn Radio is unaffected, so Internet listeners will not notice any difference.

KEOS is investigating the problem and making repairs as quickly as possible. In the meantime, if you normally listen the terrestrial signal at 89.1 FM and are either unable to hear the station or the signal is unlistenable you can listen on your computer, phone, tablet or any other Internet enabled device.
